Since You Ask…

It’s been a while since the last time I uploaded a photo from this viewpoint. Last time, there was just a big empty space with some holes and rebar; now, there’s a foundation, a whole bunch of studs, some siding, a bit of roof, and some tubes.

The tubes in question are some plumbing, electrical conduit, and air circulation. No systems are complete, not even the roof or siding. Or deck. There are many (but not all) exterior doors. I think all the windows are in, though, so I guess that’s one thing “complete.” There is no drywall. There are no lighting fixtures, interior doors, plumbing fixtures, appliances, or cabinets. There are no electrical outlets or light switches.

It has been nearly five years since the fire (August 19, 2020) and people still ask, “How’s the house coming along? Done yet?” You know what? I’ll let you know.
