There is a lot of steel in this ADU. There is a lot of steel in this project, what with all the retaining walls. We had the builder and the architect together at the site last week to review progress and they were both saying this is way more beefy than anything they’ve built up the peninsula. Cool story, bro; I guess this county doesn’t want any houses falling down underneath a mountain. I just want to be sure it doesn’t burn down.
Anyway, there’s more plywood and framing, and more reinforcing. It might actually get sealed up in a month.
